This course will provide you with all the instructions you need as an Invigilator conduct examinations in accordance with Awarding Body Regulations.
The course should take about 10-15 minutes to complete.
You can access it again at any time if you need a refresher before you invigilate. If the rules are updated or amended we will contact you by email, and also direct you to where we have included the amendment in this course material.
Training Outcomes
Each Awarding body has a specific set of rules to follow. Sometimes the rules vary depending on the exam subject or Exam type/details. To help to clarify the different rules for different exams this course covers:
1. The role of the Invigilator
2. The common key actions and rules for all exams at WM College
3. How to find the exact set of exam rules and invigilator actions for the exam you are invigilating
4. How to get help or support during invigilation if you require it

For each exam/exam type you will be provided with materials and resources on the exam day. Everything provided for your invigilation on Exam day will help to remind you of what has been covered in this presentation
If you have not invigilated before, the Exams/MIS Team will provide you with additional support on the day you invigilate.
